Holman's 1977 play set for the SJT

Robert Holman’s German Skerries comes to Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre for a 13-16 April run. A friendship, a marriage, a holiday, a death: the production fills the stage with the meetings and departures that make us human.

George Evans, Henry Everett, Katie Moore and Howard Ward appear in the first major revival of thes 1977 play. Directed by Alice Hamilton it’s a co-production between the Orange Tree Theatre and award-winning touring company Up in Arms.

This pertinent play is set against the backdrop of the Redcar steel works on Teesside, the closure of which was announced last autumn. Further information:
