See the mod for the trees with northern arboretum festival

Dreadzone ... headlining the Saturday of the three-day festival.
Positive feedback from music lovers has prompted a return of the three-day Great Northern Mod and Ska festival performing against the beautiful backdrop of Thorp Perrow Arboreteum.

The event 26-28 August event bank holiday sees seminal British punks UK Subs celebrating their 40th year, as headline act for Friday, Dreadzone will rock the main stage on Saturday and the original rude boy Neville Staple and his band hit the stage Sunday.

The programme will also feature organised scooter rides around the 2014 Tour-de-France course through the astoundingly beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales, Show and shine and fairground rides.There'll also be a comedy set each evening Saturday and Sunday in the Northern Room hosted by Simon Donald of Viz fame.

On-site camping is included in the weekend tickets along with all facilities including a ton of new attractions:

Festival managing director Mike Jinks said: ”My team and I were genuinely blown away by the amazing feedback we received after the 2015 event which made all the hard work well worth it. We have been planning behind the scenes since and have an even bigger and better show for our visitors in 2016.”
