Seeing the wood for the trees

David Sharrod , director of the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, along with Hugh Cripps and  Jenny Jensen, of York-based Yorkshire Energy Partnership. The organisations teamed up to mitigate carbon emitted through their day-to-day business. They are investing in carbon credits available through a certified woodland project. Staff from Yorkshire Energy Partnership and the trust visited Nethergill Farm in Oughtershaw to see the woodland where their carbon credits are located – and to find out first-hand how this new woodland will improve the landscape and environment in the area.
