Ripon's Workhouse Museum has teamed up with one of the city's restaurants to showcase produce from its garden.

Lockwoods will feature the produce on its menu during its summer garden festival to encourage people to visit the museum and to see how this harvest can be turned into delicious food.

The high point of the festival, which runs from 6-24 August, will be a dinner served within the workhouse museum garden, designed and prepared by Lockwoods’ chefs on the evening of the 17 August.

Throughout July and August, Lockwoods customers can claim a two-for-one entry to the museum and workhouse visitors can claim a free cup of coffee or tea with the purchase of any cake on a visit to the city centre restaurant.
