|Nidderdale: offering something|
for everyone this year.
Activities include willow weaving, tracking and den building. Those who like to get more involved can have a go at the traditional skill of dry stone walling or make their own bird box.
Those who are keen to learn more about the area can benefit from a range of guided walks and talks on topics such as geology, heritage and wildlife. There are also opportunities to go on a moorland safari with a gamekeeper, a wild food or fungi foray and a beekeeping demonstration.
Full details can be found at www.nidderdaleaonb.org.uk and will also be in the area's visitor guide available from mid-April in tourist information centres and at local attractions. Copies can also be ordered by telephoning the office on 01423 712950 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The team says that places often fill up quickly and recommends early booking.
