North York Moors beauty captured

Visitors have until 24 March to catch an exhibition of work by 16 artists captivated by the beauty of the North York Moors National Park.

Patrick Miller will be among the artists whose work will be on show.

The All Around Us exhibition at the national park Inspired by... Gallery at Danby celebrates the diversity of the area. Work includes images of Roseberry Topping, Rosedale and Westerdale.

The artists include photographers Janet and Richard Burdon, who explore the hidden intricacies of the natural world, and Ian Burton who photographs the national park’s iconic landscapes.

Ceramicists include Jill Christie of Wold Pottery and Fiona Mazza, who is influenced by landscape and nature.

Running alongside the exhibition is another display entitled From Pen to Paper featuring the work of illustrative artist Patrick Miller. In new drawings, combined with delicate washes of watercolour, he explores local scenes, coastal landscapes and village life.

Entry is free from 10am to 5pm daily.
