Lives and livelihoods over the centuries

An illustrated talk about Hartwith’s heritage is being held on Tuesday 26 March at 7pm at Pateley Bridge Methodist Church.

The event, hosted by the Friends of Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, will be led by local heritage enthusiasts Ann and Jim Stark who will unravel the stories associated with the lives and livelihoods of our local people through the centuries.

Louise McManus, chair of the friends group, said: “This talk will highlight some of the fantastic work that the Hartwith Heritage Group has done on their local area. It promises to be a really interesting event with the opportunity to see some images that most people won’t have seen before.”

This is the first event in the Friends of Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty calendar for this year and members of the public are invited. The event is free for Friends of Nidderdale and £3 for non-friends.
