A new John Godber comedy arrives at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre next month as part of a nationwide tour.

Losing the Plot stars Steve Huison, who played Lomper in the hit film The Full Monty, as Jack Munroe, a middle-aged man who, after walking out on his job, his wife and his teenage children, sets off to travel Europe and write his much promised novel.

He returns with no money, no novel – and no idea why he left. Steve has also appeared in a number of well- known TV programmes including Dinner Ladies, The Royle Family and Coronation Street in which he played Eddie Windass.

Susan Cookson plays Jack’s wife Sally, a flower shop owner. Susan is mostly known for playing Mrs Kath Wylie in Casualty, and has also appeared in Emmerdale, Clocking Off, Fat Friends, Peak Practice and most recently Mount Pleasant.

Losing the Plot can be seen at 7.30pm each evening from Monday 8 to Saturday 13 April, with matinees at 1.30pm on Thursday 11 April and 2.30pm on Saturday 13 April. Further information: www.sjt.uk.com/howtobook.asp
