Restaurant gets its teeth into national breakfast campaign
Big Yorkshire Brunch.
From 20-26 January, events across the country will encourage people to enjoy a healthy breakfast more regularly. According to organisers of the national campaign, 47 per cent of people regularly skip breakfast.
Matthew Lockwood said: “Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring — there are so many different ways to make it varied and interesting and its gives you fuel for the day ahead.”
The brunch menu at Lockwood's features ingredients from some of the best local and regional producers, some of which will be joining the brunch. Potters Eggs of Catton, Taste Traditions of Thirsk and Masham Sausages are among the suppliers taking part.
Matthew added: “Lockwoods has always believed in using local suppliers. This gives us a great opportunity to showcase the best local produce and promote the real benefits of a really good nutritious breakfast.”
