Market arrangements for Christmas

Thirsk and Northallerton are hosting markets throughout the Christmas season though some opening hours will change for the festive period.

Both towns host markets on Christmas Eve but there will not be a Wednesday one in Northallerton on 26 December.

Stalls will be up as normal on Saturday 29 December in both towns and on New Year's Eve in Thirsk.

Normal times will resume on Wednesday January 2.

The Northallerton Farmers Market  has been brought forward a week to Wednesday December 19
