Singletons will be an open book at library's Valentine's evening

Scarborough library is calling on passionate readers to book a date at the library for a Valentine's evening.

Going by the book. If you're
single and looking for love,
 you might want to
check the library.
Singletons with GSOH who WLTM somebody perhaps for LTR should book a ticket for the library's first ever "read" dating event.

All readers need to bring is their favourite book, an open mind and a desire to share writing with others.

KINDRED SPIRIT
County councillor Chris Metcalfe said: "Libraries are great places to meet people and this promises to be a fun evening. What better way to meet a kindred spirit than over a good book."

Tickets must be booked ahead as places are limited, though spaces are guaranteed for ten men and ten women. The cost of £4 includes refreshments. Doors will open at 6.30pm on 14 February for a 7pm start. An age limit has been set at 25 and over.
